The first in our screen printed t-shirts is the phrase “Nevertheless She Persisted”. It’s shown in tactile braille on the top line, with a graphic below in print that is reminiscent of signs carried during the suffragette movement at the turn of the last century. Several colors are available, and the screen printing is done in white.
We work with a local screen printer, which allows us to be very picky with the product we sell. These are not the non-tactile braille t-shirts you find on the online print on demand sites. The braille is very tactile, as attested by our customers at a recent convention. It’s big; it’s bold. It’s very readable.
The t-shirts are printed on the Gildan Soft Style shirt, a semi-fitted cotton blend that has minimal shrinkage and a generous length. They are available in sizes from XS up to 4XL in most colors we offer.
The braille is printed high enough not to cause undue concern as it falls on the “flat plane” near the collarbone.
